Origins

1-2 began as a group of friends who played Arma together and discovered Gel Ball in late 2020. They formed a team and started attending MILSIM and casual events across South East Queensland, building experience and camaraderie.

Separately, Braydon Voll founded Mjolnir as a Gel Ball team that also took part in both casual and MILSIM events.

As both groups frequently crossed paths at events and found their goals aligned, they decided to merge under the 1-2 banner and operate together as Mjolnir Gelsim.

1-2 Today

1-2 is now the active playing arm of Mjolnir Gelsim, supporting our organisation and other like-minded, community-run events across Queensland.

The team brings together a broad and complementary range of experience, including full-time and reservist Defence Force personnel alongside seasoned gel ball players and event organisers. Rather than arriving in separate sectional groups, members now operate together under a single banner, presenting a more cohesive and coordinated presence.

Other teams, such as Raiders, have also attached members to 1-2, with those players taking part in the same section at a variety of events throughout the state.
